ETOE opens pre-sale for Dolphin 2 RGB triple-laser portable projector
Early-bird €799 against an €899 MSRP buys an RGB triple-laser portable with Google TV, a 54Wh battery and 800 ANSI lumens at native 1080p, on pre-sale until June 28.

An RGB triple-laser light source in a 1.3kg battery-powered portable, for €799 early-bird: that is the Dolphin 2, whose pre-sale ETOE announced on June 19. The compact model combines the laser engine with certified Google TV, AI-assisted alignment and an integrated battery for use at home, outside or while travelling. ETOE is led by Jeric Li, previously head of Anker's projection division, and the company describes itself as among the first LCD projector brands authorised for Google TV integration.
The company quotes 800 ANSI lumens, 110% BT.2020 colour coverage, native 1080p resolution and 4K decoding. The pre-sale ran through the official ETOE store from June 15 to June 28, priced at an early-bird €799 against a €899 MSRP, with initial shipping targeted at the United States, Germany, France and Poland.
Triple laser, 30,000 hours, still Full HD
Triple-laser technology is increasingly appearing in compact projectors, where it promises wider colour than conventional LED designs. ETOE rates the Dolphin 2's laser light source for roughly 30,000 hours of use and quotes a 1,300:1 typical contrast ratio. Dolphin 2 is still a Full HD product rather than a native-4K projector, but its built-in battery and Google TV position it as an all-in-one alternative for smaller, flexible viewing setups.
Battery, stand, alignment and ports
The Dolphin 2 weighs 1.3kg and measures 185 x 179 x 58mm, built around a 54Wh (5,000mAh) battery that ETOE rates for up to two hours of playback and recharges via USB-C PD at 20V/5A, including support for power-bank top-ups. An adjustable stand tilts from -40 to 76 degrees, and ETOE's AI-powered Quad Auto-Align system automates focus, keystone correction, screen fit and obstacle avoidance, with a throw ratio of 1.2:1 covering image sizes from roughly 20 to 120 inches.
The projector runs Google TV on Android 11 with a quad-core MT9630 processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, giving access to more than 10,000 apps including Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video and Disney+. Connectivity covers one HDMI 2.1 port with ARC, USB 2.0, USB-C input, a 3.5mm audio output, dual-band 2.4/5GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.1. Audio is handled by dual 5W speakers with Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus support.
Twice the first Dolphin's brightness, and a Google TV badge
ETOE's original Dolphin, funded on Kickstarter with pledges from $399, was rated at up to 500 lumens with a smaller 10,000mAh battery. The Dolphin 2 roughly doubles the claimed brightness, adds the RGB triple-laser engine, official Google TV certification and a larger battery, positioning it as a more capable successor rather than a modest refresh.
Nobody outside ETOE had published brightness or contrast figures at the time of the pre-sale. The two things to look for once units ship are speckle from a laser engine this small, and how much of the native 1080p sharpness survives the Quad Auto-Align keystone correction.
